Here is a great article breaking down why people against the war on Iraq were against it.

Any reasonably sane person over the age of 15 knows that war is dangerous, expensive, and terrible. You know that it kills lots and lots of people, leaves many others damaged, and makes new enemies with new grudges. It is profoundly destabilizing and carries with it the threat of wider, more devastating unrest. So you don’t do it unless you absolutely have to.

Somehow the administration was able to frame the cause for war into a “Why not?” instead of allowing people to ask “Why?” With the myriad of reasons they gave, WMDs, stabilizing the Mideast, terrorists, there wasn’t a single viable reason in the lot. It is amazing how powerful the game of public perception and spin can be.

I must admit it is quite a sight to see her there. She’s looking good!
